What we do

Ocean conservation through creation of a Mesoamerican Reef (MAR) research hub that serves to: promote research, integrate art with science, and above all guide people to connect with our environment.

Projects

“World of Sound has four principal projects, all of which are vital to reach our objective of conservation and all are in constant evolution.

Monitoring of the Mesoamerican Reef

Continuous monitoring of the Mesoamerican Reef (MAR) with non-invasive methods.

Data Management and Use

Analysis and management of information within an open source database.

Sciences and Arts

Creation of artistic pieces from information that we discover in the reefs, and creation of scientific research projects with artistic methodologies and influences.

Education and Outreach

Education through workshops, focused on key audiences, in which participants learn listening techniques and from our multifaceted research and the MesoAmerican Reef ecosystem.
