Sciences and Arts
Fusion of sciences and arts is central to this project. We seek to interact with the data with many, integrated perspectives, and open-minded experimentation. An example of this is the music that our founder Dr. Heather Spence composes with the reef sound recordings, and The Listener sculpture recording station.
Our plan focuses on:
1. Integration of additional areas of arts including painting, science fiction, and theater.
2. Collaboration of additional creatives, musicians, and artists.
3. Publication of an album of Songs of the MesoAmerican Reef.
4. Development of methodologies for process-based collaboration among sciences and arts.
